We now have an Operators Licence and Operating Centre in the West of England. This is to cater for the growing customer base and fleet. New customer requirements have led to the successful application of the Operators Licence.
SCOTTISH OPERATORS LICENCE
As the business continues to grow, this has led to the need for expanding into new areas. This month Halcyon Tankers have been granted an Operators Licence in Scotland with two Operating Centres. We are also increasing our number of Transport Managers through currently qualified team members and investing in new employees by providing training.
NEW WORKSHOP
2023 sees the opening of our new vehicle workshop in Teesside. This allows us to have a good control over the maintenance of our fleet. The new experienced and time-served team of Technicians will provide maintenance for the fleet including tanks.
The purpose-built workshop includes 4 pits, stores, external parking and newly installed brake rollers.
Compliance with our Operators Licence is critical to the business and this is a pro-active step towards maintaining that compliance. We are also able to offer maintenance & repair services to 3rd parties.
SQAS Assessment - Top Marks
We have recently had our SQAS reassessment within 3 years of our initial assessment. The improvements made within our business since starting have resulted in a 22% increase in score to 95%. This is higher than the European Average and 16% higher than average UK score. This result is thanks to the efforts of all of the Halcyon Team.

New Operators Licence for the North West
We are pleased to confirm that we have been awarded a new Operators Licence for the North West for 30 trucks and 40 Trailers.
We will be operating from Formula at Ellesmere Port, and also welcome Helen O’Rourke onto the Licence as Traffic Manager, with Helen having recently passed her CPC Exam.
